Welcome to the Forum Elina,

Bruchacki is a very rare surname - only 13 persons in Poland bear it, the most (5) in Włodawa (click here for map of the surname deployment: https://nazwiska-polskie.pl/Bruchacki ).

I didn't find any mention about Bruchacki surname in my sources. Maybe there is something in 'Nazwiska Polaków. Słownik historyczno-etymologiczny. (Surnames of Poles. Historical and Etymological Dictionary.) by prof. Kazimierz Rymut, Warszawa 1999 - 2001). Unfortunately, I don't have access to this book temporarily.
