pardon my late reply...i just want to thank you for sharing your connection to the same village as that of my grandmother Czeslawa CELMER (b.1901) and that of her father's family who was from there.
i have no other idea nor images of this place other than what you have shared.
one day i hope to visit this area...and see the old village and visit the parish in drozdowo.
i do not know what i may find...only that i wish to place my feet on the same soil they once walked on.
happy holidays

Hi Karen,
I didn't know where Lomza was located, so I found it on a map (University of Texas Perry-Castañeda Library Map Collection). I hope this is the Lomza you are referring to. See image below.

Wikipedia has a history of Lomza (spelled Łomża), which is located in north-east Poland, about 150 km (90 miles) from Warsaw and 81 km (50 miles) from Białystok. It is situated alongside the Narew river and has been in the Podlaskie Voivodeship since 1999. Previously, it was the capital of the Łomża Voivodeship (1975–1998). It is the capital of Łomża County and the capital of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Łomża since 1925. Read the rest at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Łomża

There are some old photos of Lomza here:
http://www.museumoffamilyhistory.com/lee-lomza.htm

Also, I've found that the jewish genealogy links often have many photos:
http://kehilalinks.jewishgen.org/Lomza/
