Did you check the list of mining injuries/fatalities at the link in the coal mining thead? If he was hurt in the mine and it was documented, the name of the mine is usually included.

My grandparents, Stephen and Mary Zwolinski, lived in Mahanoy City, PA from 1912-1916 and immigrated from Croatia in 1912. He was recruited by a coal company and so worked in the mines in Mahanoy City. Does anyone have any suggestions in finding information to connect my grandparents to Mahanoy City or to the coal mine where he worked. Thanks
