I wasn't sure if you found the original record for Wladyslaw coming in 1909. If not, here it is. If you did, sorry to duplicate your work.

I am still trying to find the manifest for Marya.

Hi Marta,
You are planning your trip to Poland. I remember asking you about this earlier. How many generations of Dymitrowski and Lenart were you able to find?
When I tried to help you earlier, I made some drawings. It would be nice to compare our work. If you want, I can look into this.

I would suggest you try using the Morse Gold Form to see if you can find these manifests that you are looking for. It is free, and it is very versatile. You can find it here:

Notice that none of the fields are required to be filled out. Also notice that the fields don't force you to use a full name, they allow you to enter the letters that a name starts with. For example, you could look for Marya Dymitrowska by searching for first name that starts with MAR and last name that starts with DYM. You can play with adding more info or less info to the search form. The goal is to get a table of results that has some names in it, but not 1000 names. You can even look for all people whose surname starts with D who come from a town beginning with KOLB, or anyone named MARYA who was born between 1890 and 1900. Anyway, you get the drift. Have some fun with it!

Marya’s cousin Jan Mytych also immigrated to the US from Kolbuszowa in 1909. There are stories, nothing that I can document, that has Jan Mytych leaving Poland with Marya’s mother Anna Lenart Dymitowska 1909.perhaps they all traveled together? Or separately due to money? Anna initially immigrated in 1896 and but I find no records of her return to Poland

It would seem odd for her to be on the same ship with Wladyslaw and not be shown on the same page of the manifest with him. He is on line 13. Page forward to see the second page of the manifest:

If you are curious about the notation "admitted" by his name, it is because he was held for "special inquiry" for three days. He was labelled "LPC" ("likely public charge") but they decided that he was admissible after all. You can see that here (notice the last column which indicates the number of breakfasts, lunches and dinners he consumed while waiting for the decision, all of which was charged back to the shipping company):

He might have disliked that form of welcome enough to encourage Marya to try landing through a different port. Pure speculation on my part.

This other document does agree with your thought that Marya immigrated in 1909. It shows her arriving through Vermont in December 1921, and in answer to the question of whether she had been in the U.S. before she said that she had been, from 1909 to July 1921.

I need help discovering whether Marya Dymitrowska did indeed arrive in the US with her father, Wladyslaw on November 11 1909 aboard the SS Grant. I have found records for Wladyslaw, but not for his daughter. Census records show that she immigrated in 1909 also, but I cannot find a record of her. Both were from Kolbuszowa. DOB Wladyslaw 1863, Marya 1895. Thank you in advance
