Hi,
The priest Waclaw Chrzanowski is mentioned in this:
https://bazhum.muzhp.pl/media/files/Rocznik_Wielunski/Rocznik_Wielunski-r2002-t2/Rocznik_Wielunski-r2002-t2-s5-36/Rocznik_Wielunski-r2002-t2-s5-36.pdf
Specifically, his name is in a table on image 19 and in the text on image 16. A quick retyping of the sentence that precedes his name on image 16 and uploading it to Google Translate (ok, not the best technique but a good start) seems to suggest that he was allowed to return to his town, so perhaps he returned to Ruda. You may want to explore that text in greater detail.
Sophia

Oh, thank you ! So, maybe, if there is a death record for him, it is in the archives of Wielun (I know there are a few Ruda, but I know "his" Ruda was the one near Wielun) ?
I am still working on my polish family ancestors, and I found the birth certificate of the brother (Waclaw Michal Chrzanowski) of my great grandfather (Ludwik Chrzanowski). He was born in Jaworzno in september 1874.

I have 2 questions about it :
- First, I tried to translate it but I don't speak Russian and I am absolutely note sure of the names of the witnesses and the godfather and godmother. Can you help me, please ?

I read : Witnesses : Wincenty Sprejinski a cook of 41 years old and Ignacy Kowatowski, farmer of 61 years old, both from Jaworzno
Godfather : Pawel Lichinski
Godmother : Józefa Unasnik.

I may be completely wrong with thoses names !

- Secondly, I know he was a priest, for the parishes of Walichnowa from 1918 to 1935, then of Ruda from 1935 to october 1941, when he was deported by the Germans to Dachau, but as he was old and sick he was left behind before arriving in Dachau and died on may 1942, but I don't know where. Do you know where I could find this information ? Maybe the Church have some informations about the priests from WWII ?

And do you think it is possible to ask those parishes if they may have some old pictures of that time, maybe some photos of him ?

Thank you for your help
