Hi,

Not quite sure what you are hoping to find, but I assume from your question that you are interested in police-related news that might make mention of your great-grandfather.

If you go here:
https://polona.pl/

And use the search terms Warszawa and policja, you find dozens and dozens of issues of the publication "Rozkaz Dzienny" which are very short (2 to 4 pages) and include the names of people. No guarantee that your great-grandfather will be among them.

For example, here is one issue of the "Rozkaz Dzienny" from 1920:

In some cases, the people named are likely to be ones who broke the law, however in another issue I did see that there were names of constables being put on sick leave. So it will be very hit-or-miss. Also, it is entirely in Polish and so the task seems daunting, but given a grey day and a nice coffee, you might make some progress and at least get a flavor of what was happening in the city, as he would have seen it.

I did not continue far enough in the results of the above-mentioned search to see if there are photos or books that might be of interest to you.
