Hello, would the same family have the last name Laszcz and Laszczkowski? My great-grandmother, her brother and her dad all used the last name of Laszcz for ship logs, and also in records in the USA. I've not seen they've used Laszczkowski at all. They are from Bartnicki, Plock, according to the ship logs.

I can only add that in Polish the surname is Laszczkowski. Laszczkowskich is the plural form in the Genitive case as in rodzina Laszczkowskich – which means “the Laszczkowski family”, “the family of Laszczkowski”.

According to a map of Polish surnames ( https://nazwiska-polskie.pl/ ), people with the name Laszczkowski/Laszczkowska are concentrated in north-eastern Poland.

I'm curious to find out any information about the surname Laszczkowskich, from the town of Lawsku. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Furthermore, how common is it to have a Polish surname end in ch?
