Researching the Surname " Ronczyk". Have been told that we originated from Scavien Russian Poland, said to be a border town of Russia and Poland....Also have been told that Galacia ( Galicia ) is a possibility but have not been able to find anything,
it is possible that Jacob Ronczyk was married to "Annie", no last name and that Jacob was in the Cossack Army and also owend land in Poland.... Possibly Jacob Ronczyk or even Jozsef Ronczyk moved to Hungary before coming to the United States.....My Grand Father Jozsef (Joseph ) was married to Katherine Gladycz born 12 Feb 1894, from Chlemiliska (Galacia) Poland, Jozsef (Joseph) was born in Scavien Russian Poland 22 April 1891, died 9 April 1958...There is a Family in Hungary with
the Surname " Ronczyk ", have talked to them but can not find a connection..
I would appreciate any help I can get, have been looking for about 6 years with no results....
