"Place of Residence" can be also changed from Koczergi - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koczergi

Also, those numbers on Michal's line indicates he naturalized. Take a look at http://www.jewishgen.org/InfoFiles/Manifests/occ/
His naturalization papers must have clearly stated the place he was born.

Accordingly to www.herby.com.pl there is no Koczerza. The correct spelling is Koczerga.

Here is how they are listed in the Ellis passenger info
