Janów

It happened in the village of Biała, on August 25th, 1855, at 3 p.m.

There appeared Jan Strzelecki, 41 years old and Franciszek Jonaczek, 37 years old, both Janów' prison warders and they declared that on the 23rd day of the current month and year, at 10 a.m., died in Janów prison Grzegorz Adamowicz, 47 years old, of romancatholic confession, a peasant, who was born in the village of Górecko located in the parish of Górecko, in the commune of Aleksandrów located in the country of Zamość, in the governorate of Lublin, a son of Szczepan and Marianna, the Adamowicz spouses. He was survived by his widowed wife, Małgorzata and eight children.

After I confimed the death of Grzegorz Adamowicz this Act was read to the witnesses, all of whom were illiterate and it was signed by Us.
