Hi,
When searching for Lipa's family, keep in mind that the letters H and G were often used interchangeably in Russian. As a result, the surname may be recorded as either Hendel or Gendel.
I found Lipa registered under the surname Gendel. He was born on April 15, 1880, in Płock.
I have sent you a PM.

Regards,
Nr 2
Zaspy

It happened in Miłkowice on December 27th, 1887/January 8th, 1888, at 1 p.m.

There appeared Karol Świerczyński, 24 years old, a servant from Zaspy, in the presence of Józef Lipiński, 50 years old, and Józef Żurawsdki, 26 years old, peasants from Zaspy and presented to Us a newborn male child, declaring that the child was born yesterday in Zaspy, at 3 p.m., to his legal wice, Apolonia nee Lipińska, 24 years old.

At Holy Baptism, held today by Us, the child was given the name Józef, and his godparents were: Józef Lipiński and Józefa Kubisiak.

This Act was read to those present, all of whom were illiterate and it was signed by Us only.
Hi,
I will give you a quick answer while you wait for the translation from "marcelproust". The mother’s name is Apolonia Świerczyńska, née Lipińska. The child was given the name Józef.
M. Proust
With my extremely rudimentary Russian language skills, I believe the attached is the birth record for Józef Świerczyński, father Karol, mother Lipińska. But all other records I have list her given name as Apolonia. Here it looks like Józefa. If you could translate the entire record, I would be very grateful. The record can also be viewed as Akt no. 2 here:
