                                      I just ran across the naturalization record of a distant relative whose 1940 naturalization record says &amp;quot;Country of Birth or Allegiance: USA-Poland&amp;quot;, &amp;quot;Repatriated&amp;quot;. She was born in the United States, had lost her US citizenship by marriage to a Polish immigrant, and repatriated herself in 1940. It was the first time that I had seen such a record, so I searched for further information on the subject and found an interesting article that I thought might be interesting to share here. This is just an excerpt:&lt;br /&gt;
