—	*BYDGOSZCZ.

FROM POMERANIA
*BYDGOSZCZ. On the day of the Green World, Mr. and Mrs. Stanisław and Anna Stanisławski née Lechowski, who moved from Ostrów Wlkp. to Bydgoszcz a year ago, celebrate their golden wedding anniversary, Mr. Stanisławski, a well-known merchant and industrialist in the machinery industry in Ostrów, worked actively in numerous professional and social organizations, enjoying great respect everywhere. In the times of partition, the Jubilee House was a center where wide patriotic elements were concentrated, and the jubilee participated with his three sons in the Greater Poland Uprising. Today, his sons: Leon, Czesław and Wiktor hold serious social positions, while his daughter Maria is the wife of Prof. M. Seidl from Bydgoszcz, and Leokadia is the superior of the SS Seraphites in Vilnius. The jubilees received a letter of blessing from Primate Hlond, and a congratulatory diploma with a medal from the President of the Republic of Poland.
Hi Marcel and Skowronski,

I would like to add an important detail to the second newspaper article, the one with the heading "Ofiary." This is a listing of people who made donations. The first sentence of the article says: "Dla komitetu niesienia pomocy w Królestwie Polskim złożyli:" and so, these two couples who are of interest to you celebrated their wartime weddings by making donations to the Relief Committee of the Kingdom of Poland.

Best regards,
Z POMORZA
—	*BYDGOSZCZ.
Hi Marcel,

Could you look at it one more time? It is indexed as 1833, not 1836. You can see the index here (go to skan 79):
33
Putroszany [currently: Putriškiai]
Marriage record for Krutula Jakub and Róża

It happened in Balwierzyszki, on August 26th, 1833, at 5 p.m.

We make it known that in the presence of witnesses, Jerzy Krutula, a farmer from Putroszany, 30 years old and Mateusz Zwyrbel, the administrator of monastic property from Putroszany, 28 years old, a religious marriage was concluded, between:

Jakub Krutula, a single man, a farmer born and living in Jachany, a son of Jan and Justyna nee Szulewska, the Krutula spouses, 21 years old

and

Róża, a miss, a daughter of Szymon and Anna, the Zwyrbel spouses, 17 years old, who was born and lives at her parents' in Putroszany.

This marriage was preceded by three banns of marriage, announced on: August 10th, 17th and 24th of the current year in the parishes of Balwierzyszki and Udryń.

The newlyweds' parents, who were present at drafting this marriage Act, gave their permission for this marriage to be concluded.

There were no objections for this marriage.

This Act was read to the newlyweds and witnesses, all of whom were illiterate.
Thanks so much of your help.

Thanks for the column headers, Blue.

For Anna, I now read it this way: "Anna urodz Nowak"

I'm not used to seeing maiden names written that way, but that is what I see.

For the column "stan zawód" I am seeing żona... (I actually can't read the ending, but I think it might say żonaty). If you are able to look at other women on this page or other pages, you should be able to see this same word in multiple places, if its purpose is to indicate that she is the wife of the head of household.

Is this a list of people who belonged to a church? Or is it a residence list for a town? If it's for a church, then I would agree with your interpretation that a cross-out means she left this parish. If it's for a town, I would see it slightly differently.

For Jadwiga, I agree with Barb's reading of her occupation as "służąca".
