If the PolishOrigins team covers Belarus, I'd be glad to hear that too.

Families and places:
Piotrowski (Petrovsky): Ogrodniki and Misiury, Lida district, Orthodox and Roman Catholic, 1850 to 1912
Surkont: Okolica Worniszki, Lida parish, petty gentry, 1820 to 1856
Sosik: Detomla, Wsielub (Vselyub) parish, Nowogródek district, 1890 to 1911

Main targets: an 1880 Orthodox baptism in Lida district and a 1911 marriage at Wsielub St. Michael's church. I've already written to both archives and am looking for someone who can follow up locally.

Any names you've worked with recently, or pointers to Lida area records, much appreciated. Please reply here or by PM.

Thank you! https://forum.polishorigins.com/viewtopic.php?p=91818#91818 LidaRoots1880 Tue Nov 03, 2026 1:11 pm https://forum.polishorigins.com/viewtopic.php?p=91818#91818
