Hi Tina.
There are some road works on the south part of Kraków temporary. I think You will get comfortable access to main station from the north area (eg. Krowodrza, Kleparz). There are trains from main station to Wieliczka (SKA1 line) and some buses to Aushwitz. Your best Guide is "jak dojade" android app, You can plan Your journey with local buses, trams and metropolitan trains.

going to krakow in nov, plan on visiting auschwitz, the salt mines and a day around the city... thats our 3 days taken up... any recommendations on what area is best to stay?
