Dziekuje, Jozef,

This Maria I found was one of the few who said she was from the Russian partition. But the town is not in the area I need her to be - unless it was the last place
she worked - I will keep that in mind. The other similar names seem to be from the German areas.
I'll keep looking. I appreciate the help.

Arciuki:
1) village in the eastern side of the county rzeczyckiego, in the municipality chołmeckiej, in the judicial district, and state police rzeczyckiem.
2) a small rural village on the southeastern tip of the Minsk district, Minsk province, the road from Stołbców Prusinowa to the left, in the three-state police, a 5-ym judicial district.

Another look at the manifest - line 11 - it looks like Arczucki.

I have a Franciszka Racl~awski who was married to a Magrowski, from Dobrzejewice. She was from Grzywno (in Prussia), which is about 30 miles West of Rypin/Kowalki. Do you have a link to the ship manifest or the scanned image of it?

While looking for a Maria Roclawska in the passenger lists, because she may be
a daughter of my grandfather's sister Stefania Jerawska Roclawski, I came across a passenger record in 1911 for a Maria Raslowska, which is close. The birth date is "about 1892", the birth location is Russia - Arczuch.

I don't find Arczuch or anything like it on my maps, and "google" doesn't find it. Is there a place in the Kowalki/Rypin/Plock area with a similar name?
