I’ve been researching my family’s (balczuk/bulchie/birchess) (Pukiewicz,pukavage) for years and only recently made any type of progress. I grew up with only stories that my grandmother told us about my great grandmother and great grandfather, we lived so far from the original settlement of my family In Pennsylvania so we didn’t know anyone, I’ve managed to find information on one side of the family up to when they came to America but I’m clueless on the other side (bernosky). Im trying to find towns they came from and I’m stumped, I assume my problems are coming from the fact that names were misspelled when they moved if anyone can help out Id really appreciate the time!
