Thanks for all the info.

My grandfathers oldest brother die after 18 day in 1912 and they person that wrote down Frank and Josephs last name as Cerwus. On his birth certificate it is spelled as Cyrwus. Frank had 5 sisters and 2 brothers that I know of. I don't know the 2 oldest sisters name either and what I was told was that none of the Cyrwus came to the U.S. besides Frank. Franks nephew Frank Batkiewicz came to over about 1936 and in the 1940 census it said that he was born in Pennsylvania. His mother name was Annette. I think I just found my great grandfather ship manifest. It has his right birth year, age that he came over here and that he come from Nowy Targ I just can not read who he is come to meet in the U.S.

I don't know much about the Pawlikowski side of my family. All I know is what is in the census for them no one in my family really talked about this side of the them like the Cyrwus and Mroszczak side. The 1920 census has the Pawlikowski living in the same building in as another Pawlikowski family.

I found a church marriage record for Antoni Cyrwus and Bronislawa Pawlikowski getting married on Aug 13, 1911 at Sacred Heart Church, Chicago. I’m attaching the record for you (click to enlarge).

Antoni Cyrwus was indexed under the surname Cerwus. There are more Cerwus marriages in the Marriage Index for Polish Parishes in Chicago through 1915 that I'm attaching for you:

According to the Index of Illinois Deaths and Stillbirths, 1916-1947, a George Cyrwus died 29 Oct 1941 in Chicago. He was born on 23 Apr 1878 in Nowy Targ. His parents are indexed as Joseph Cyrwus and Anne Przybocka. I checked the Cerwus marriage records above for the parents' names and saw that Antoni/Anthony Cerwus who married Bronislawa/Bernice Pawlikowski has the same parents: Cerwus, Joseph and Przybocka, Anna. It looks like George (1878-1941) and Antoni/Anthony Cerwus were siblings:

I checked the Chicago Tribune Historical Archive for your great-grandfather Franciszek Cyrwus‘ obituary, but couldn’t find it. But you have probably seen that he is indexed in the Dziennik Chicagoski 1930-1971 Death Notice Index, Date of Notice: 12/7/1953, Thanks: 12/19/1953.

There is also a death notice for Anna Sowinski, née Cyrwus, who died in Dec 1965, and for Rose Cyrwus, née Jarzabek, wife of George Cyrwus, who died in March 1951. Their obituaries appeared also in the Chicago Tribune and were among the obits I sent you yesterday.

Josephina was born 11/1/1899 in Hastings, Pennsylvania Died 2/5/1983 in Chicago. My dad has her Baptism she it was on 11/5/1899 in Hasting, Pa. it has the last name of Mrosak. She would use both spelling of the last name.

We can not find any of the girls birth certificate that were born in Pennsylvania.

I would love copies of the obituaries. I know Frank Cyrwus has a picture of the Polish Highlanders carrying his casket down the stairs of the church. It was a bigger story about him in the paper.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share information on your family members that came to the United States from Waksmund. It is so good to see the list grow. The more details we have, the bigger the chances are that we will be able to find connections between the families who came from Waksmund. If I understand it right, Andrew and Anna Mroszczak and their five children all returned to Poland, two of their daughters, Kordula and Josephine Mroszczak, came back to the US some time later, lived in the Chicago Back of the Yards, and Kordula married Frank Cyrwus. Was Frank Cyrwus your grandfather? And how was France Mroszczak who worked as a coal miner in PA related to your family? I'm just asking because I'm trying to better understand how your families are connected. If you wish, I can check the Chicago Tribune Historical Archive for obituaries for your names on the weekend when I have more time, which may be helpful in learning more about how the Mroszczak or Cyrwus families are related.
