Paul,
Here you can see where the village Jastkowice is located:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jastkowice

http://maps.google.de/maps?oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:de:official&client=firefox-a&q=Jastkowice&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=0x4722d312981dd97d:0x462ab291d83762ce,Jastkowice,+Polen&gl=de&ei=hyOzT4PVMo2K4gTmyOm4CQ&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&ct=image&resnum=1&ved=0CCcQ8gEwAA

Another link to a website on Jastkowice. Unfortunately, there is no English version of it, but I thought you might enjoy seeing the photoalbum:

http://www.pysznica.pl/page/index/page_id/63
http://www.pysznica.pl/photoalbum/index/page/1

I also made a list of emigrants from the village of Jastkowice based on information I found in the New York Passenger Arrival Lists (Ellis Island), 1892-1924, and at www.familysearch.org and posted it in the Forum Section "Emigration". Perhaps one of the names sounds familiar to you or is connected to your family.
Gilberto,
You could be right about Zawidowice. I know it’s a little far fetched, but one never knows: A ‘Jewka Gidey’ entered the US on Jan 20, 1921 coming from Liverpool on board of “The Vedic”, Manifest line number 0027. He indicates that his destination in the US is his mother Agnieska Gidey at 803, Front St., Allentown, PA, and that his last residence was with his uncle Michajlo Gidey in Zawidowice, Poland.
This would give me another generation back thank you !

It's hard to say if if the highlighted words are the grandmother's maiden names or the villages they were from, which are usually given, or if it has something to do with the Latin day of the baptism.

I just saw that Gilberto responded at exactly the same moment when I did and answered this question.

Apart from that, what I'm reading is:
Name of the baptized child: Franciskus (Franz, Franciszek)
House number: 310
Confession: Rom. Catholic
Gender: Male
Legitimate Child
Father Andreas (Andrzej, Andrew) Gajda, Son of Franciskus (Franz, Franciszek) Gajda and Barbara, de Martino Maziarz; Agricola = farmers;
Mother: Agnes Trybel, daughter of Anton(i) Trybel and Ludowika, de Andrea (Andrzej, Andrew) Bajdo, agricola = farmers.

Patrini = Godparents were Joseph(us) Niernalski (?) and Catharina Paleu (Palen?), Joannis, agricola = farmers.
