Besides the 1920 census, what other records have you been able to find about your great-grandfather? Many times these contain additional clues.

What was his wife's name, and do you know when and where they were married? If you are able to find their marriage record, there is sometimes useful information there. For example, mt great grandparents' Massachusetts state marriage record showed the name of the priest who married them. This in turn led me to identify the Polish church where they got married. I then contacted the church and obtained a more detailed record of their marriage, where they listed their home villages in Poland.

I have recently started researching my great-grandfather Joseph P. Stasik's family. He was born over in Poland on July 22, 1901. His parents names John and Anna. I have hit a road block in my search for John Stasik. I can not find any information on his parents names or if he had any siblings. I do know that John was born in the year of 1871 and died in Pennsylvania on January 5, 1936. In a 1920 Pennsylvania census his last name was listed as Stossick. If anyone can help me further my research it would be greatly appreciated.
