Hi Gail,

No is the answer to most of your questions. The groom was a soldier and the Baron is part of the name of the regiment to which the groom belonged. His parents were Andrzej Petrow and Maria, the daughter of Michał Prociow.

If you could post the image as a complete jpeg or even a screenshot I would be able to put together a better translation. The cut & pasted images are missing some important stuff & make the entry hard to read.

It looks like another case of holding your feet to the ground.
