Thank you. I have another question. You already told me that Skotnik is a polish surname but I found this: "Skotnik (pastuch, l.mn. skotnicy, zapożyczenie z niem. skatts)". I translated it and found out it means "borrowed from the German word skatts". So it means that the word skotnik is from the german word skatts or have I misunderstood that.

Hi Jan,

Skotnik is a Polish surname which means “cattle herder”. In 1998 149 people in Poland used the surname.
