Hi Nick,
The two town names that I gave you, Posejny and Pozopsie, are names that I found on the website I gave you a link to, which gives towns from the Suwalki gubernia.
The town that Fantom provided was not on that list, and it inspired me to look a bit further afield to see if I could find another potential "Posupy" for you to research. I found Pošupės in today's Lithuania. You can go to google maps and see Posejny, Poniki (Ilguva) and Pošupės.
You will have to look around (FamilySearch website, etc.) to see if you can find records for these places.

The place name provided in column 11 is probably Poniki/Ilgow (Ilguva) which is in Lithuania.
This would need to be verified against some other sources.

Hi Nick,
It is written a few times on the manifest, which helps. As you see from the first page, in column 11, after the name of the town is "g. Suwalki" where the "g" means gubernia.
Here is a map of that gubernia:

To my eyes, the town as written on the manifest is "Posupy."
Take a look at the map and see if anything looks like that. I do not see it. Perhaps you can find another map, with a scale that shows even smaller towns.
