You always digg interestings information. So it was the first census after WWII.

I would love to know what happened to that archive.
I found by accident what that survey was for. This document is probably a form used during first census after WWII performed on 3 of December 1950. Quick info on GUS site http://www.stat.gov.pl/gus/6413_PLK_HTML.htm
Strangely, i found archive of that census for Łańcut in ELA database http://baza.archiwa.gov.pl/sezam/ela.php but none for other big cities(!) The catalog description is Narodowy Spis Powszechny, date is 1950. I wonder what such archive could contain.

End of July in Warsaw I found a printed form from 1950, the survey where everybody had to answer loads of questions, what was he/she doing before the war, during the WWII, after the WWII, what were doing his siblings and parents, and children, did he/she had any family abroad, what was his origin (in the political communist sense: working-class or worse), and biography.

I think that even that form alone is scary and chilling, and should be shared and known. What better occupation now on vacation that to type it, even with Polish diacritics, one by one copy/paste, without any word’s processing help?

By the way, there are acronyms (whose three-quarters I do not know), but also a darker names, like: Korpus Ochrony Pogranicza, 2-gi Oddzial, Bereza Kartuzka (Body Border Protection, 2nd Squad, Bereza Kartuzka).

I wonder whether today's interviews can do better.

The good side of that survey is that if you ever find it in your Polish archives, you will have your family life described by those who had to write it well, under stress and fear.

It's in Polish, but Google is your friend.
