I recently received a household document from Vilnius, which lists his &quot;relationship to general military duty&quot; as &quot;reservist.&quot; From what I understand, someone could be in the reserve if they had previously served in the military.<br /> <br /> Since he was born in 1900 and Bluden became part of the Polesie Voivodeship in 1921, I assume he may have served in the Polish military.
