“Walesa. Man of hope” in U.S. congress

Today, on 4th of December, in U.S. congress in Washington there will be a ceremonial show of Andrzej Wajda’s film “Walesa. Man of hope”. It will be with participation of Lech Wałęsa himself and the Members of the American Congress. Here, in U.S. congress, in 1989 as President of Poland, Wałęsa gave his famous speech. This moment is also recalled in the final scene of Wajda’s movie.
