According to this birth certificate, your ancestor's birh record was issued by Kolno parish. It seems that Joseph's parents family research should be done in Kolno parish birth and marriage records books from before 1876. They are kept in State Archive in Białystok probably (http://www.bialystok.ap.gov.pl/) or Diocesan Archive in Łomża (http://www.diecezja.lomza.pl/kuria/kuria-diecezjalna).</description>

                                      Below is a translated (Russian) birth certificate of g-grandfather Joseph Koszewski that appears to retrieved by him in 1915 as it was found in the basement of a relative in the U.S. I wish to follow-up on it and obtain more details about it and his father, Ignatz, and mother, Eva Rierdan.
