Zadrozny is a "location" surname, and means "beyond the way", as in the family that lives over there on the other side of the road. The feminine form is Zadrozna, and is also used as surname in the US by at least one family.

The Russian and Ukrainian spelling is Zadorozny.

The most common spelling variations, misspellings include Zadrozni, Zadrosni, Zadrosny, Zadrosne, Sadrosny, Sadrosne, etc.

I estimate there are approximately 500 people in the United States with this surname. There is also a sizable population in Brazil.

In Poland, the largest concentrations of people with the Zadrozny/Zadrozna surname are in the area northwest of Warsaw, around Ostrow Mazowiecka.
