In my home town there appears to be many marriages occurring before 1930 with the intent to create many children among tight communities of Polish immigrants. My hometown was the home to mostly Russian Poles from Suwalki/Augustowa. My own Grandparents and Great Grandparents were in arranged marriages. How would you recognize an arranged marriage? That is without using just an old story?
