I received an email from the "Polish Genius" email group that may be of interest to many here. The group has had a number of postings of stork nest URLs that are of interest during egg laying and fledgling raising season. If I can find those, I'll add them in another post.

There's a good number of webcams that show some of the more popular places around Poland, particularly the last one which will give you many places to explore.

The webcams in downtown Krakow are streaming videos and show the night life (it was when I looked at it this morning) that seem to freeze occasionally (refresh to restart)

I'm posting the entire email along with the person's name should you have any questions.

Folks,

In case you haven't the time to travel to Poland, you may still be able
to see good parts of it. For example, Google Map provides satellite
imagery and, more particularly, in impressive collection of road views.
You could have followed Debbie on the road during her last visit to Poland.

But even better, there are a large number of WEB cameras sprinkled
around Poland that produce HD quality live images of various places.
You, of course, are aware of the stork nest cameras. However,
additionally, you may wish to just see dawn breaking on one of the
Baltic beaches, say, at Kolobrzeg:

Perhaps the rynek or a street view at Kraków:

Maybe the mermaid or a panorama at Ustka:

The shopping 'mall' in Zakopane:

Holy Mass in Sanok (as it is being held at 7:00am on Sunday - in Polish):

You get the picture, er, I mean the video...

Here is a map of Poland indicating hundreds of cameras that you may wish
to investigate. Keep in mind that not all of them will be functional.
Click on the icons to get closer or the image that shows up to direct
you to the camera site.

Nevertheless you can explore Poland live at your leisure from your soft
sofa.

Have fun, Roman
P.S. If you run the URL through Google Translate, it will turn the Polish into English for you
