I found note about this wonderful, huge photo album in the latest issue of GenDobry.

As Debbie wrote in an e-mail to me: "I've been visiting Poland since 1996. We go every other year; 1996, 1998, 2000 x 2, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2008.
I take the photographs so people can see at least one picture from their ancestors' village. "

So, check out the website http://www.polishfamily.com , even if you did it some time before, because Debbie recently added new photographs Who knows, maybe among the 450+ places there is also village of your ancestors...

By this occasion, I think it is worth to mention about another maps.google.com and Google earth great functionality - pictures and videos from different places in the whole world. When you search maps.google.com for a town, anywhere in the world, you can tick 'Photos' and 'Videos' in 'More' menu in the top right corner of the map. You will see then videos and photographs of given towns taken by people who visited those places. Example: http://tinyurl.com/deeyee
