I just thought I'd share that FamilyTreeDNA is having their annual Holiday DNA special. The savings runs through Dec 31st with the lowest price on FamilyFinder (autosomal DNA like Ancestry.com) at $59.00.

The link above is for a GEOGRAPHIC DNA project that I am volunteer group administrator for with Family Tree DNA. The group is open to those with known ancestry from the Podhale Region and that have DNA tested with Family Tree. An alternative is that if you DNA tested BEFORE 1 JUne 2016 with Ancestry, you can transfer your results for $39.00 (paid to FT-DNA).

Why DNA test / join a GEOGRAPHIC DNA project? Those with ancestry from this region can struggle due to lack of access to records. Finding genetic matches is a potential to open up a dialogue with others from the known region just like we do with our posted questions here on Polish Origins.
