                                      Inglot means &amp;quot;strong angel&amp;quot;.  Other countries have variations of this as in Engelhardt in German and Iglesi in Italian, etc.</description>

                                      Thanks for the information. My husband's family did come from that area of Poland in the early 1900's. The origin of the name is new information that we had never heard before.</description>
