I am searching for an area in Germany where my gggradfather Martinus Braciszewski.

Ok,here goes. The area is west of Bad Langensalza, south of Muhlhausen-Thuringer,east of Treffurt, and north of Eisenach.

I'm looking for a Catholic parish I might find his death certificate,a cemetary, town or any other information.

He, Martinus Braciszewski was married in 1849 to Cecelia Koteras in Slawno,Wielkopolskie Poland.

He was 25,she was 26. That's all I can find,except that they had a son, Martin,born around 1864-1867.

Kind regards,

Hello,

I looks like a copy the marriage certificate in question, dated 1849, can be obtained from the Archdiocesan Archives in Gniezno. The email address is metryki@archidiecezja.pl. Perhaps further details contained in it will move things forward.
