My father who was called Walter (English), Waldy was born approx 1922 and left Poland after WW2 via Italy in 1946, maybe on HMS Andes to Southampton, Hampshire England. Unfortunately we have no surname as his name was changed to Jan Kopiec on arrival to England. We do know he had a sister named Aniela who was married to Albert? Kubin around 1945 and had two daughters Danuta and Helana. He also had three other brothers, one who died young (Eric) and two other sisters. His mother's name was Maria. <br /> We would be very grateful for any help.
