Tadeusz Kościuszko was awarded 300 acres in Ohio, for his services in the American Revolutionary War. On his died his administrator, Thomas Jefferson, was instructed to sell the land in Ohio and use the money to buy freedom for slaves and to educate them. A man with forward thinking !!!

Our two countries have long stood shoulder to shoulder. Thank you to all who honor freedom and patriotism!

                                      Dear Elzbieta,

Thank you so much for this. I had no idea this existed. It brought tears to my eyes because it is a reminder of what we as a nation once were, still are (deep down), and still can be. By posting this, you are reminding us of our essential nature. I for one, so desperately need to be reminded that the noble essence of America is not lost and must be brought forth again by its citizens. Just my own personal thoughts and feelings, and not an invitation for debate.

Pozdrawiam i dziękuję,
