I need a lot of help. I am looking for my unknown family Poland. My grandfather came to Norway after the war, where he settled and married. We know very little about him and nothing about his family.

The man I want to know more about is called Georg Jerzy Kuch. He was born 15.02.1917 in Jaroslaw (?). Unfortunately he died in 1999 in Norway. This is all we know ...

Where can I find information? Where can I look?

Hope someone can help me.

Hi,
Jerzy is sometimes rendered as George.
Records from 1917 are not expected to be online, due to privacy law (less than 100 years old), but you can request a copy to the Civil Register Office, in order to know who his parents were.
e-mail: usc1@jaroslaw.pl

In Nasza Klasa, (nk.pl) a sort of social media, shows 4 Kuch still living in Jaroslaw: Macek Kuch, Ewelina Luty, and Patrycja Kuch and Witold Kuch. Ewelin has a Facebook page (the one who lives in Jaroslaw). From what I understand Kuch is her maiden name.
