My grandfather was Antoni Matusiak but my ggrandfather was Ignatius Matusiak vel Matusek. Where dis you grandfather come from un Poland?

Both spellings are still found in Poland, so check for both.

In papers I have my grandfather signs his name as Matusek, yet when he first arrived in the US his name is given as Matuszek. Should I search in Poland for the name Matuszek?
