It was the historical region of Upper Silesia which is now in Łódzkie and Opole Voivodeships, I'm pretty sure. I try Geneteka.com for research. Not too successful. She was married to a Scheliga sometime in the 1870s and had one daughter Mary. Sometime after she remarried Franciszek Mika, my third great grandfather. Does anyone else have ancestry from this region?
