I can add that there were 260 people by the surname Kanty living in Poland in 2002. Most lived in Biłgoraj area (71) and no one in Kęty.

What may interest you Lisa, Jan Kanty is also a two words male first name. There are two well-known Poles using it:
Jan Kanty Pawluśkiewicz - composer
Jan Kanty Steczkowski - politician and mathematician.
