After some break, here comes the new blog!
Story by Johanna (her personal page: https://polishorigins.com/userinfo/?uid=3469) about her genealogy tour to Zagórz area, that was organised less than a month ago, in September 2018.

Johanna travelled with Zbigniew and despite our pesimistic predictions they were able to find living relatives (in two days only!).

"Walking a short distance across a highway by the Oslawa River, “Z” found a man named Trzciniecki, a possible relative on my great grandmother’s side. While they chatted, Allan and I walked around the corner and down the road a bit to see the river and take some photos. I was thinking all the time—my grandfather looked at this river and stood on the bank on my right. Just amazing."

Apart from the great story you will find there a bunch of general information concerning Przemyśl archives and great example how to use the cadastral maps of Galicia in your research.

Read the part 1 of the story here: https://blog.polishorigins.com/the-long-put-off-trip-to-poland-to-search-for-my-eastern-european-roots-part-1/
