there are also Budz folks that came to Chicago and Massachusetts and NY that I can find in Ancestry.com.
Problem is so few test DNA in FTDNA that it is hard to find any direct ancestors.
we did find a Ladislaw Budz who matches me very very closely and I believe is
very old or may have died recently. we are both I2b1d.

another problem is that EVERY BUDZ family has a Stanley, a Francis, a Joseph, and a John.

.There was a Budz family from the Tatra's who settled in rural Niagara,Ontario around WWI.The family is still around but the spelling of the last name got changed to Butz somewhere along the line.I beleive the family originated from what is now to-day the Czech or Slovak side of the Tatras,but they always considered themselves Polish.

No, I don't have any information on Budz immigrants apart from what I posted in the list of Murzasichle emigrants who entered the United States through the Port of New York.
Budz is a very old Podhale surname. According to the books by Jozef Bubak on the history of surnames in the district of Nowy Targ, BUDZ occurred in different spelling forms, such as Budz, Bucz, Buc, Budzak, Budzek, as early as 1614.
