If you are planning to stay in the Zakopane area please consider staying in Nowy Targ. Your are close enough to visit Zakopane but far enough away to enjoy the peaceful quite of a small town charm. My personal friend Charles Frederick is from Colorado and teaches English in Grońkow. So they speak English, German and Polish between him and his wife Malgosia.

My cousin stayed here last summer and couldn't believe the price, 50 zloty, that's $17 a night!
