How can I find my mothers family in Poland .

She came to Australia as a displaced person.

Where can I send my information, I only end up on sites related to the U.S and that cost money.

Can I just put some information here ? , is it going to cost anything.

Search the forum for the name, or you set up a new Post - with Surname and town, do 1 fore each your dad and mum.
This is what I would be doing, but I don't even have a solid lead on where my family is from

You must work backward from what you know. Get as much information as possible from your mother or other oldest living relatives. At one point she might have written to Poland for a copy of her birth record in order to apply for citizenship (as my great grandmother did in 1930). Start with records in Australia. Immigration records. Citizenship records. Marriage records. Church records. Any record where your mother might have been asked for her place of birth. When you have a town or immediate region of origin, then try Poland and the Mormon Church's microfilms of Polish records. What was your mother's surname? When was she born? Do you know where?
