can anyone give me info on the BUDZ (buc) and Wilczek names in the Nowy Targ area?

most likely GRON.

If you are asking for doing look up in the books by Bubak Jozef, 1970, 'Nazwiska ludnosci dawnego starostwa Nowotarskiego' about history of surnames from Nowy Targ area try to contact Ute who offered her help here: http://forum.polishorigins.com/viewtopic.php?p=1407#1407 .
