My question involves a given name. Eswrad. Is it male or female?
It appears that the baby died in infancy but I can find no mention of the name anywhere.

I believe this is male name Edward. Its same in english as in polish. If not, this hypotetically would be some jewish name.
After second look, i could it read Alfred but quite hardly.
