Post subject: Need help locating records for Moszyn
Hello,
Any ideas on where I can look for birth records 1837-1841 for:
Moszyn, gmina Kleszewo (gmina=community), powiat Pultusk (powiat=county)
I cannot find Moszyn online in any databases. However, I did find a film in Family Search (LDS) for Pultusk that covers these years. Do you think it is possible the Mosyn records might be included in the Pultusk films?
Thanks for any help you can offer to point me in the right direction.

According to SGKP parish was in Pultusk. Could not find this frame of time, neither in Metryki nor in Poczekalnia.

Thanks for checking, Gilberto. Family search has a film for Pultusk covering these dates:

The description just says records for Pultusk and doesn't list any other villages. In your experience, do you think its worth my ordering it and seeing if Moszyn is included?

Yes, since you have nothing to lose, except 7.50. However, maybe you could first take a look of Pultusk records online just to check if there is any including Moszyn.

I did check online as you suggested and yes, Kleszewo and Moszyn are both in the online parish books! That's a good sign, so I will go ahead and order the LDS film and see what happens.
