Post subject: Birth and death records Lodz, PL - Lakomiak
Mother Halina Lakomiak born 4-24-24 in Lodz. Mother was Anna Lakomiak (Krauser) born about 1894, not sure of Anna's birth place but believed to have died and buried in Lodz. Died in early 1970's? Catholic cemetery? Fathers name believed to be Roman Lakomiak. Other related Lakomiak's in Lodz? Halina had one niece born to her brother John/Janek Lakomiak, her birth name was Krystyna Lakomiak. Halina also had one sister Janina also died in Lodz. Where to start? Cannot read Polish.

Because Halina's birth record is less than 100 years old, you will have to request it at the Civil Register Office in Lodz. The email address is usc.centrum[at].lodz.pl
You can write in english, but the answer will be in polish. Not a problem, we have polish translators in this forum.
I have found a Anna Lakomiak born in 1895. Her parents were Jozef and Jozefina (nee Bednarek).

Thank you so much for your quick response. I will inquire for Halina's birth record.
Regarding Anna Lakomiak, she would have been born Anna Krauser. This, however, may be another relative. Regarding Roman, can you check for a Raymond Lakomiak, in similar timeframe, now questioning name.
