Post subject: PLOCK ARCHIVES
Hello:
I'm looking for a researcher who lives in close proximity to the Archives in Plock.
I need the birth vitals for at least two ancestors.. And this is where they would be located.
Depending on the other factors, would be looking for their parents records as well.
Thanks for any help/recommendations!

Some places are online. What is the one you are looking for?

Hi Gilberto:
I think they don't have my years online - but perhaps I am wrong.
Looking for:
1876: Szczepan Nowakowski in Wierznica, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Poland (Mokowo parish).
1876: Franciszka Warzycka (was married with her mother's maiden name, so assuming that is what is on birth record as well. Father's surname is Markuszewska just in case) in Biala, Mazowieckie, Poland (Gostynin parish).

Yes, you are right. Mokowo* parish has records at AP Torun and AD Plock; Gostynyn has records at AP Plock and AD Plock. Records at the AP can be requested by email, but the ones at AD you will need someone in Poland. I was told they are closed until September.
*= so far, only 1908 in http://www.genealogiawarchiwach.pl/

oncemore,
Another option if you don't want to wait until the records appear online would be to rent the LDS films. It appears that the records for the parishes and the years you want have been filmed at the diocesan archives in Plock and are available to be rented.

Thanks to you both!
@dnowicki - Yes, I am glad that is an option. However, I've yet to come close to mastering the polish records - so I've worked with a few polish researchers. I'm hoping one of them is within easy travel to the archives. Will be much faster for me to get information that way - as well as probably more indepth as they can quickly trace parents, etc. as well.
If I can't find anyone close enough to avoid substantive travel costs, then I'll have my main contact order the films and proceed that way.
Tks!
