Post subject: Searching: Łos, Szafraniec, Bielak, Kula from Zabno,Turobin
Hello. I am searching for any possible living descendants of my family. Surname Łos & Szafraniec from Zabno, Turobin, Lubelskie.
I have located many records in Poland on the Lubgens and Geneolodzy websites for these family members, going back to the late 1700's.
Other surnames associated with the Łos family include:
Szafraniec
Bida
Brodaczewska/Brodaczewski
Bogucka
Jarmul
Żuk
Tomilo
Wal
Bielak (also lived in Kwidzyn, Pomerania in the 1940's) and
Kula (also lived in Siedliska, Lubelskie in the late 1940's).
Zimon
I would very much like to communicate with anyone who may have a connection to these families.
Thank you and regards,

Hello. So very nice to hear from you! I was not able to respond to your message until today because I was on Holiday in England and Scotland.
I am not sure if we are related. We probably would need to share a little more information first. Here is what I know so far about the Bielak in my family:
I recently discovered some letters written to my paternal Grandmother (Antonina Łoś ) who came to the USA in 1913. She was from Zabno, Turobin.
These letters were from a number of Antonina's brothers, nieces and nephews who remained in Poland. I believe my Jozefa Bielak is my grandmother's niece.
Some of the letters were from Jozefa (Jusefa or Jozia) Bielak, born about 1901 in Zabno, Turobin, Lubelski.
Her parents were: Andrzej Bielak and Marianna Łoś (Antonina's sister).
My Jozefa Bielak also had 3 brothers: Jan, Stefan and Stanislaw.
Jozefa married a man named JAN WAL in 1919.
I believe they had at least 3 children for whom I have found very little information:
Marylka (born about 1925);
Kazimirez (Kazio) born about 1927;
and I believe there were 1 or 2 other children but I do not have their names or ages.
That is all I have for now.
Could any of these people be anyone in your family tree?
I would love to hear back from you.
Kind regards,

Hi Janbee,
Unfortunately this doesn't sound like my grandmother. I know very little about her family except for her children's names, which do not seem to match up. She was born around 1900 plus or minus five or ten years, probably somewhere around Malopolskie area.. I know she moved to Germany after WWII, which I believe is where she passed.
I was hoping we are connected!
Sharon
